Our Story

From Trivia Night Strangers to “I Do”

It was rooftop trivia night, and Jasper's team was down to their last life raft: the category was "90s Cartoons." Poppy, three tables over, called out the answer before the host even finished the question. Jasper's team won. He bought her a lemonade to say thanks. Neither of them left for another four hours.

What followed was a slow, easy certainty that they'd found their favorite person — long conversations, a standing trivia-night rematch, and quiet Sunday mornings that started to feel like home. Jasper proposed at the corn maze where they'd gotten lost on their third date — this time, on purpose, with a ring.

Now they can't wait to celebrate with everyone who means the world to them.

Think sundresses, linen suits, comfortable shoes. It's a farm, so we'd gently suggest skipping the stilettos.

Getting to the Party

By Car

Sunshine Meadows Farm is about 25 minutes outside downtown Asheville. Free on-site parking, with signage to guide you in from the main road.

By Air

Fly into Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), about 30 minutes from the farm. Rental cars are recommended.

Shuttle

A shuttle will run between our host hotel and the farm throughout the evening, so you're welcome to leave the driving to us.

Where to Stay

We've held a block of rooms at The Buttercup Inn, about 10 minutes from the farm. Mention "Poppy & Jasper" when booking for our discounted rate. Rooms are limited, so please book early.

Questions You Might Have

Are kids invited?

We adore your littles, but we're keeping this one adults-only (18+), aside from immediate family. Consider it a night off — you've earned it!

What should I wear?

Our dress code is "Garden Party Fancy" — sundresses, fun ties, colorful everything. It's outdoors on grass, so save the stilettos for another day.

Is it indoors or outdoors?

Both! Ceremony is outside in the sunflower field (weather permitting), reception is in the barn, so you'll be comfortable rain or shine.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We kept our guest list cozy, so plus-ones are only included if noted on your invite. Check the "Number of Guests" field on the RSVP form for your allotted seats.

What about gifts?

Honestly, just showing up and dancing badly with us is gift enough. If you insist, we'll share registry details closer to the date.

Will there be a shuttle?

Yes! It'll run all evening between The Buttercup Inn and the farm. Details on pickup times will be in your invitation suite.
