RSVPOur Story
Sophia and Alexander met at a mutual friend's gallery opening in the West Village, trading opinions on Rothko over plastic cups of wine. What began as a debate about color theory became a first date within the week.
Five years, three apartments, and one very patient rescue greyhound later, Alexander proposed at dusk on the Pont Alexandre III in Paris — a nod to the name they'd share, and a bridge they'd already been building for years.
Now, surrounded by the people who shaped their story, Sophia and Alexander invite you to raise a glass with them beneath the gilded ceilings of The Avalon Opera House.

Questions
For gentlemen, a dinner jacket (tuxedo) with a bow tie is traditional. For ladies, a floor-length gown or a formal cocktail dress in an evening palette is perfect. When in doubt, more formal is always the safer choice.
While we adore your little ones, our celebration is reserved for guests 16 and older. We hope this gives you a wonderful evening to enjoy without little ones in tow.
